Privacy notice

orna.ie is a static website. It sets no cookies, collects no analytics, and loads no third-party tracking scripts. The fonts are hosted on the site itself, so your browser makes no requests to an external font service.

The contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, the following information is processed:

• your name,
• your email address,
• the subject and message you write.

That information is used to deliver your message to Orna Ní Choileáin and to reply to you, and for nothing else. It is sent as an email to Orna’s private address. It is not stored in any database on this site, it is not used for marketing, and it is not shared with third parties.

The services that deliver the email (the hosting provider and the email delivery service) process the message in transit as data processors. They may retain technical metadata, such as your IP address, for a short period to prevent abuse.

To keep bots out, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare processes technical signals from your browser (including your IP address) to confirm you are a person; it sets no tracking cookies on your device. Cloudflare’s privacy notice is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Your message is kept in Orna’s mailbox for as long as is needed to reply to you or to manage ongoing correspondence.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, send a message through the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
